Privacy Policy
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Monodome (“Monodome”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal data in connection with MonoTeams and related websites, applications, and services (the “Service”). It applies to visitors, account holders, and members of workspaces that use the Service. Where your organization operates the workspace, that organization is the controller of the content within it, and we act as its processor.
2. Data we collect
We collect the following categories of data:
- Account data — name, email, workspace and role, and authentication identifiers (including SSO identifiers where used).
- Content — messages, files, meeting metadata, and other content you and your members submit to the Service.
- Usage and device data — log data, IP address, browser and device information, and diagnostic events used to operate and secure the Service.
- Support and contact data — information you provide when you contact sales or support.
3. How we use data
We use personal data to:
- Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
- Authenticate users, enforce tenancy boundaries, and prevent abuse and fraud.
- Communicate about the Service, including security and administrative notices.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use the content of your workspaces to train advertising profiles.
5. Security and retention
We protect personal data with encryption in transit and at rest, tenant isolation, access controls, and audit logging — described further on our security page. We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the Service and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized, subject to any legal holds.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Where a workspace controls your data, please direct requests to your workspace administrator; we will assist the controller in responding. You may otherwise contact us using the details below.
7. International transfers
We may process and store data in countries other than where you live. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. Organizations with data residency requirements can discuss dedicated or self-hosted deployment options.
8. Contact and changes
For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, reach us through the contact page. We may update this Policy from time to time; material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email, and the “Effective” date above reflects the latest revision.
